Date and Time: Sep 25-30

Beaufort - Oriental Cruise

  • The plan is to leave early on the 25th and spend the night at Casper's Marina in Swansboro at mile marker 229 (about 66 miles that first day).
  • The second day (the 26th) we will head north to Beaufort Docks Marina at mile marker 202 (only 27 miles that second day) where we will spend the night.
  • We will spend the 27th in Beaufort going to the North Carolina Maritime Museum, waterfront street shops and great restaurants.
  • On the 28th we head north again to mile marker 181 (only 21 miles) in Oriental and will spend the night at Oriental Marina at mile marker 180.7.
  • On the 29th we head back south to Swansboro (48 miles) and then back home on the 30th.
Please RSVP so we can let the marina's know how many slips we'll need.
Jimmy Thomas and I both have trawlers so we don't plan on a quick trip, so please encourage the slower boats to go with us (they'll be comfortable).

Location: Wilmington Downtown
Date and Time: Nov 2-4
Hardy Souls Cruise
Celebrate the end of the summer cruising season with one last great boat trip.  Sign up and join in on the Hardy Souls Cruise, November 2-4.  Located on the Wilmington City Docks, there will be time to socialize, enjoy downtown Wilmington, and commune over fine meals.
As is the custom for this cruise, you won’t want to miss out on Friday night pizza on the dock.  There is the possibility for a tour to a local landmark later on that evening.  On Saturday you have one last chance to shop at the farmer’s market on Water Street before it closes for the season.  Later that evening there will dinner at a local restaurant, not yet determined.  Don’t forget breakfast on the dock before departing on Sunday.
If you would like to be part of this cruise, please register below.
If you have any questions, please contact the Thompson’s at foreverdreamin06@gmail.com
Hope to see you there.
