How to Join

Thank you for your interest in the Cape Fear Sail & Power Squadron!

As you browse through the pages of our website you can see that we are a community of boating enthusiasts dedicated to safe boating through education, community service programs and social activities. We believe in our tagline - For Boaters, By Boaters^®  and cordially welcome others who are equally devoted and inspired. Whether you’re a seasoned local boater or new to the complexities of boating on the coastal Cape Fear waterways becoming a member will benefit you in a number of ways by improving your boating skills, developing your boating confidence and ultimately expanding your boating fun. However, you do not have to own a boat to join.

The Pledge of the United States Power Squadrons^®:

Abide by the bylaws of the United States Power Squadrons^®; promote high standards of navigation and seamanship; maintain my boat and operate it legally; render assistance whenever possible; and conduct myself in a manner that will add prestige, honor and respect to the United States Power Squadrons^®.
